Overview

As a Product Manager at WEX, you will lead EV-focused products and partnerships that help fleets transition to electric solutions. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to understand customer needs, analyze data, and shape a roadmap that delivers value during electrification. You’ll partner with engineering, marketing, and sales to prioritize features and drive adoption. This role offers a chance to influence the mobility product evolution and support customers as they move to EV fleets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more Electric Vehicle products and partnerships with a focus on retention during fleet electrification
  • Collaborate with engineering and other product teams to prioritise and deliver features
  • Capture customer problems, write detailed requirements, manage backlogs and maintain thorough documentation
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to first use and ongoing support
  • Utilise qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritise roadmap and run experiments
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and act as a trusted partner across marketing, finance, compliance and sales
  • Apply market knowledge and domain expertise to shape product strategy and value delivery
  • Foster customer empathy through interviews and data analysis to better meet needs

Key requirements

  • Previous Product Management experience delivering software or capabilities
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams
  • Experience gathering customer problems, prioritising roadmaps, and maintaining documentation
  • End-to-end product lifecycle understanding (discovery, hypothesis-driven development, launch, support)
  • Strong customer centricity and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial acumen and focus on delivering commercial value
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to influence stakeholders
  • Passion for electrification and fleet adoption
  • Bonus: Familiarity with EV charging ecosystem and standards (OCPP, OCPI) or IoT/payments integrations
