Senior Depositary Account Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the Citco Custody Depositary team to ensure high standards of compliance and risk controls across multiple clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless depositary and custody services, oversee critical reviews and inspections, and build strong client relationships. You will drive risk management, training, and continuous improvement initiatives in a global, compliant environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape operational excellence and client service within a premier fund services firm.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust control environment to meet depositary obligations
• Ensure full policy and procedure compliance with global standards
• Maintain oversight of all Depositary tasks across clients and teams
• Manage the Depositary team performing NAV reviews, cash flow monitoring, safekeeping and investment compliance reviews
• Liaise with other departments to record and resolve breaches and escalate issues
• Work with clients to resolve queries and strengthen relationships
• Lead on-site inspections of AIFM, administrators and due diligence of sub-custodians
• Assist with material for SOC testing, on-site reviews and annual audits
• Collaborate with Internal Audit, Operational Control Management & Group Risk to manage depositary risk
• Interact with Group Compliance regarding queries and monitoring plan
• Provide KPI & KRI reporting to Senior management, Risk Management and Operational Control
• Assist with training, development and motivation of the team
• Participate in key projects for ongoing business evolution

Key requirements

• Third level business / finance qualification and a minimum of 8 years’ depositary experience in fund industry
• Experience in Hedge Fund / Private Equity, Real Estate Alternative Fund Industry
• Strong team management experience
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal effectiveness
• Strong written and spoken English
