Business Manager, Data & Related Services

Overview

In this role you will support the Data & Related Services (D&RS) business within Markets by driving strategic planning, financial oversight, governance, and operational excellence. You will partner with the leadership team to translate objectives into actionable plans, monitor performance, and coordinate governance and risk programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering executive reporting and supporting cross-functional change initiatives. This position offers impact across markets data lines and opportunities to shape strategy and performance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual strategic planning, KPI development and business planning; produce management information, dashboards and executive reporting
• Monitor financial performance; assist with budget planning, forecasting and financial analysis; identify risks and opportunities and propose actions
• Maintain and enhance governance, risk controls, and regulatory obligations; coordinate business continuity and operational resilience
• Drive operational efficiency and coordinate cross-team delivery; support resource planning and workforce reporting
• Build relationships with leadership across Markets, Finance, Risk, Technology, HR and Group Functions; influence decisions via data-driven analysis
• Lead or support cross-functional projects; prepare business cases and Board-level materials; track delivery against objectives and timelines
• Support implementation of strategic and operational change programmes

Key requirements

• Significant experience in business management, strategy, operations, finance or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex information into insights
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in financial reporting and performance management
