Senior Quantity Surveyor – HS2

Overview

A Civil Piling and Ground Engineering contractor seeks a Commercial specialist to support a major Berkshire project. You will report to the Commercial Manager and mentor grads/AQS, handling subcontractor procurement and supply chain management. From award to final accounts, you’ll manage cost/value reconciliations, assist with change and variations. This role offers exposure to a diverse civil portfolio with clear potential for career growth within a growing specialist contractor.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
• Managing projects from award through to final accounts
• Reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations
• Assisting with change management and variations
• Mentoring Graduates and AQSs

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification and experience
• Civil Engineering and Piling experience
• Main Contracting and/or Sub Contractor experience
• NEC contract experience
• Sub contract procurement and management experience
• Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience
