Overview

As Senior Technical Lead – Remediation in Halifax, you will steer environmental assessments and cleanup efforts for a broad range of clients. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and define strategy for environmental assessments and remediation projects
  • Serve as primary client liaison to maintain strong relationships and high satisfaction
  • Oversee technical delivery and guide decisions while developing team members
  • Maintain regular communications with regulators, clients, and internal teams
  • Articulate risks, challenges, and recommendations clearly
  • Provide senior review on technical reports and regulatory submittals
  • Mentor junior staff to foster technical excellence
  • Demonstrate personal safety leadership on projects

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline
  • Professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo or similar) in Nova Scotia
  • Qualified Professional for ESA in Nova Scotia
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental remediation and/or reclamation projects
  • Proven experience providing technical oversight on contaminated site projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude in fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of CCME and Atlantic RBCA environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Experience with regulatory applications and documentation in Nova Scotia
  • Technical oversight of contaminated site projects
