Overview

You will join a respected regional law firm in Crewkerne as a Land and Property Solicitor focusing on residential property. You will manage a full caseload from instruction to post-completion, collaborating with clients, agents, and professionals in a supportive team. You may supervise Trainee Lawyers and support staff, contributing to a culture of development and high-quality client service. This role offers clear progression pathways, including opportunities toward Salaried Partner, in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities

  • Managing matters from instruction through to post completion
  • Handling a broad range of residential property and land law work
  • Running a busy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Supervising Trainee Lawyers and support staff (desirable)
  • Meeting time recording and billing targets
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and local professionals
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture

Key requirements

  • 5+ years PQE in residential property or wider land law
  • Strong technical knowledge of Property and Land Law
  • Confidence managing files independently from start to finish
  • Experience supervising junior colleagues (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the local market or a connection to the area (highly desirable)
