C++ Developer – Front Office Trading

Overview

As a backend-focused C++ Developer you will redevelop and tailor a core equity trading system for the EMEA market. You’ll work primarily on the backend in C++17/20 on Linux, handling large, data-intensive workloads with low latency. This Front Office role places you in direct contact with traders, from design to delivery, shaping robust solutions that impact trading activity. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions and scale systems to support high-volume data and performance.

Responsibilities

• Redevelop and customize core equity trading system for the EMEA market
• Develop backend components in C++17/20 on Linux for large, data-intensive systems
• Address low-latency requirements and high-volume data challenges
• Engage with traders and stakeholders from design through delivery
• Make technical decisions and implement robust solutions with direct desk impact

Key requirements

• Strong C++ backend development experience
• Experience working with traders in Front Office trading environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Solid knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, Design Patterns, Data Structures)
• Degree in Computer Science or related STEM field
