Overview

In this Director role, you drive revenue growth for Control Risks’ Compliance, Investigations & eDiscovery practice, focusing on investigations, compliance, and disputes. You will shape market-facing strategies, campaigns, and pursuit plans to win opportunities with law firms, corporate legal, and risk teams. You’ll position our multidisciplinary offerings while cross-selling digital forensics, eDiscovery, and data analytics to support client matters. This is a high-impact role that blends business development with strategic collaboration across practitioners and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual revenue through targeted business development and collaboration with regional leaders
  • Develop opportunities across investigations, proactive compliance, forensic accounting, expert testimony, and dispute-related matters
  • Create top-of-funnel opportunities by mapping buyers and building relationships with law firms and corporate stakeholders
  • Position Control Risks as a multidisciplinary partner and cross-sell digital forensics, eDiscovery, and analytics
  • Contribute to market-facing initiatives: campaigns, client briefings, webinars, roundtables, and thought leadership
  • Develop bespoke collateral and client messaging for investigations, regulatory responses, and dispute matters
  • Shaped pursuit strategy and client conversations from outreach to proposal stage
  • Leverage CRM and campaign data to track pipeline and inform progress
  • Experiment with new channels and formats to reach senior practitioners for sensitive matters

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 7+ years of sales, business development, or related experience in investigations, compliance, disputes, or forensic services
  • Understanding of buyers and referral sources in investigations and compliance-led work
  • Experience developing pipeline through outreach, campaigns, events, and thought leadership
  • Ability to shape client conversations and move opportunities to proposal stage
  • Strong commercial judgment with pricing, scoping, and deal strategy experience
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales technology
  • Knowledge of how digital forensics, eDiscovery, data analytics and AI-assisted review support engagements
