Overview

In this role you will join a Tier 1 Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked Employment team in Southampton to handle a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for employers and senior individuals. You will work within a collaborative, supportive environment that prioritises mentoring, training and clear career progression, including exposure to AI-enabled innovation. You will help shape pragmatic employment advice across disputes, restructures and HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a varied client base
• Handling complex workplace disputes, restructures, senior exits and investigations
• Supporting Tribunal litigation and strategic HR matters
• Collaborating with senior lawyers and partners to deliver pragmatic advice
• Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to a robust pipeline
• Participating in training and development initiatives, including AI-driven innovation

Key requirements

• 2-6 years PQE in Employment law
• Solid experience across contentious and advisory employment work
• Strong client care skills
