Overview
In this role you support pupils across diverse primary schools, helping them build confidence and engage in positive learning. You will work within flexible daily supply or long-term placements, aligning with schools’ routines and the local BS15 community. The role offers variety across settings and the chance to gain school experience while making a real difference for learners. You will collaborate with staff to create inclusive, welcoming classrooms and support pupils with different needs.

Responsibilities
- support pupils in the classroom to enable active participation
- assist with learning activities and classroom routines
- help pupils build confidence and positive learning habits
- support pupils who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) when needed
- contribute to inclusive, positive learning environments
- adapt to both short-term daily supply and longer-term assignments
Key requirements
- enthusiastic individuals with a passion for helping children
- flexible and adaptable to different school settings
- willingness to work across primary schools in BS15
- experience with children or young people (preferred)
- ability to support diverse learners including EAL
- team player who collaborates with school staff
