Overview
In this role you help shape and deliver client investment and business change programmes within a global infrastructure consultancy. You will work with cross‑functional teams to define delivery models, readiness, and PMO design, while driving risk management and client engagement. You’ll partner with directors and clients to meet quality, commercial, and growth targets, shaping proposals and sharing knowledge across the team. Responsibilities
- Support delivery of strategic goals related to capability, growth and commercial targets
- Lead or support significant, complex programme management advisory or delivery commissions with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure commissions meet quality standards and commercial expectations
- Apply robust risk identification, evaluation and mitigation
- Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environment requirements
- Develop strong client relationships to support delivery
- Identify and act on business development opportunities, including cross-selling
- Lead and support development of proposals through the bid process
- Engage and develop direct reports and career paths
- Share knowledge and promote best practices internally and externally
Key requirements
- Complex multi-disciplinary programme and PMO management experience
- Proven delivery track record
- Leadership, strategy development, relationship management, complex problem solving
- Management consulting experience
- Senior-level client engagement experience
- Account management of live programmes and opportunity seeking
- Line management experience in consultancy
- Strong industry network and cross-selling capability
- Commercial experience with track record of winning and retaining clients
- Degree level education (ideally in project/programme management/construction/engineering)
- ChPP or APM accreditation; Managing Successful Programmes accreditation preferred
