MI Analyst – Banking

Overview

In this MI Analyst role you will develop and support BI systems, with a focus on Hyperion technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable BI solutions and bank-facing analytics. The position involves Eximbills administration, project management for implementations, and ensuring production stability. You’ll contribute to finance-related analysis and system improvements that drive operational efficiency and risk management in a banking context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support BI systems, emphasizing Hyperion Workspace 9.3.0.1
• Develop applications in OLAP environments using Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase
• Install/update and maintain Eximbills and related systems
• Train users on Eximbills and related systems
• Project manage Eximbills implementations and upgrades
• Prepare documentation for new and existing systems
• Undertake ad hoc tasks as needed
• Provide production support and maintain business continuity
• Possess experience in Trade Finance/Payments analysis
• Engage with PC/ISeries/Banking environment knowledge

Key requirements

• Strong Hyperion experience (Workspace, Planning, Essbase)
• SQL Server and SSIS experience
• 2+ years in Eximbills toolkit
• Experience with Misys Equation Banking system modules
• Exposure to Banking/Financial environment
• PC development platforms and ISeries environment knowledge
• Second European language desirable
• Business analysis capability to translate needs into BI solutions
