Junior Planning Manager

Overview

In this technical Front-end Production Planning role, you own the tools and systems that drive planning accuracy within HelloFresh’s Planning team. You act as the subject-matter expert on frontend production planning tasks and proactively shape the daily schedule and production workflow. You analyse weekly production metrics to improve future plans and lead AI/automation initiatives that add value. You coordinate short- and mid-term projects and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise tools, processes, and KPI reporting. Responsibilities

• Own the technical capability of the planning team and serve as the frontend SME for production planning tasks
• Oversee daily planning operations and actively build the production schedule
• Analyse last week’s production measurements to inform future plan parameters and extract insights
• Drive initiatives to improve planning tools, processes, and KPI reporting, applying AI and automation where valuable
• Act as the technical lead for the team, coordinating short- and mid-term projects
• Support and elevate the team and attend tier meetings
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships inside and outside the business

Key requirements

• Strong technical and systems background, ideally from an operational environment (data, logistics, or transport planning)
• Understanding of AI with some coding ability
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets
• Data-driven and highly detail-oriented
• Proactive and long-term oriented with strong prioritisation and problem-solving abilities
• Managerial competencies without requirement for prior management experience
