Overview

As Technical Insulation Manager, you will lead the technical processes for insulation schemes within Sika’s Building Envelope team, ensuring designs are correct, compliant, and cost-effective. You will influence insulation choices across flat board and tapered solutions, aligning with regulatory requirements and project needs. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to support robust thermal proposals and product selection. This role offers a clear path to Technical Management and broader opportunities within a global company.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the technical processes around insulation schemes
  • Ensure insulation designs, calculations, and specifications are accurate
  • Support project teams in selecting appropriate insulation products for each project
  • Manage stakeholders through insulation supply routes
  • Develop and validate thermal proposals for compliance and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate across insulation types including flat board and tapered schemes
  • Contribute to the evolution of the insulation offering within the roofing system

Key requirements

  • Substantial working knowledge of flat roof insulation design
  • Good knowledge of Building Regulations related to Fire and Part L
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders through insulation supply routes
