Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems for a well-established hospitality equipment provider. You will work on cold rooms, walk‑ins, and related cooling equipment, delivering safe, high‑quality service and building trust with customers on site. The position combines planned maintenance with reactive calls, offering a stable workload and clear opportunities to contribute to reliable kitchen operations. This is a long‑term role with a supportive team and a strong field‑service focus.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across various refrigeration systems
• Work on cold rooms, walk‑in refrigerators, freezers and cellar cooling equipment
• Occasional servicing/repair of commercial catering equipment as required
• Complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Provide professional on-site service and build strong customer relationships

Key requirements

• Valid F-Gas qualification
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Reliable and professional approach to work
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in a similar role (e.g., Refrigeration Engineer, Service Engineer, Field engineer)
