Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of target businesses and drivers
  • Interpret and analyse information memoranda and business plans
  • Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets
  • Assess projections and assumptions
  • Evaluate working capital facilities and financing covenants
  • Identify potential synergies
  • Flag key issues impacting value or price
  • Review sale and purchase agreements and due diligence findings
  • Analyse financial structures and credit agreements
  • Lead and develop service offerings to drive practice growth
  • Mentor and develop junior team members
  • Manage diverse, inclusive teams and recognise contributions

Key requirements

  • ACA or equivalent qualification
  • Strong report writing, attention to detail, risk management
  • Experience in financial due diligence and transaction services
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading business development from opportunity to conversion
  • Experience building and managing client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills
