Managing Surveyor

Overview

In this role, you lead the commercial function for a respected building sub-contractor in London, overseeing a small team on projects valued £500k–£5m. You will develop collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, group companies and suppliers to achieve successful project outcomes and align with best practices. You mentor junior staff and report to the Regional Commercial Manager. This position offers the chance to contribute to the company’s long-term success within a positive, collaborative culture and to shape commercial strategy on mid-sized projects.

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in quantity surveying
• Experience managing projects valued over £1m
• Extensive knowledge of contracts, specifically JCT and NEC
• Enthusiastic and ambitious with a view to long-term success of the company
• Background with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor
