Overview
In this role you will lead and deliver Specialist Construction, Civil Engineering and Estate Management programmes across QinetiQ’s Maritime Estate, ensuring on-time, within-budget outcomes. You will engage internal and external stakeholders, govern programme aims and risks, and report on progress. The position combines leadership with hands-on project delivery across multiple sites on a hybrid pattern. Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a defined Programme of major construction projects
- Develop and maintain engagement with programme customers, partners and suppliers internal and external
- Define and monitor programme aims, objectives, risks and scope with monthly management reporting
- Resolve conflicts within the programme and collaborate across QinetiQ
- Deliver programme outcomes to baseline metrics (time, cost, quality, cash and stakeholder satisfaction)
- Provide leadership to establish vision and direction, inspiring teams to achieve programme success
Key requirements
- Extensive experience in construction project/programme management from inception to completion
- Experience with Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations and acting as client or similar role
- Excellent experience of NEC contracts and construction procurement methods
