Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to operational and departmental leaders
  • Support budget holders in developing and managing budgets and forecasts
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to improve performance
  • Lead the production of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and financial performance reports
  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities
  • Support business planning, investment appraisal, and strategic decision-making
  • Lead and coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Develop financial models and business cases for key projects and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Key requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting role
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and financial analysis
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and support non-financial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
