Senior Civil Engineer – Renewables & Transmission & Distribution

Overview

In this Senior Civil Engineer role you drive the technical design and delivery of diverse energy projects. You will contribute across feasibility, detailed design and construction supervision within the Renewables & Transmission and Distribution teams. Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and manage day-to-day project work within timescales and budgets
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams
• Lead civil infrastructure design including roads, drainage, and external works
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications per UK standards
• Conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries
• Produce reports such as feasibility studies and design documentation
• Mentor and guide junior staff

Key requirements

• BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered status or actively pursuing chartership
• High technical competency in design of civil or structural elements
• Strong report writing and organizational skills
• Familiarity with NGTS or National Grid CDAE status is advantageous
