Overview

As an Investment Banking Associate in the Healthcare Group, you support and drive client engagements across M&A, capital raises, and strategic advisory. You will manage day-to-day transaction processes, oversee analyses, and coordinate diligence while guiding Analysts. You’ll contribute directly to client strategies and materials, operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers exposure to senior bankers, healthcare executives, and growth opportunities within a trusted, independent partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution workstreams for M&A, private capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments
  • Develop and review complex financial models (operating, merger, LBO, valuation)
  • Apply and oversee valuation methodologies (comps, precedent transactions, DCF)
  • Coordinate financial, operational, and due diligence processes
  • Manage client, investor, and advisor interactions throughout deal execution
  • Evaluate performance, positioning, growth opportunities, and transaction risks
  • Support senior bankers with transaction strategy and client recommendations
  • Review materials to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
  • Participate in client meetings and management presentations
  • Mentor and supervise Analysts and junior team members
  • Contribute to business development and client coverage efforts
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and firm policies

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong academic record
  • Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, valuation, and financial statement analysis
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and mentoring ability
