Customer Relationship Manager

Overview

As a Customer Relationship Manager in Zurich Commercial Insurance UK, you will lead strategic client engagements with large, complex commercial customers and London Market brokers. You will set the direction for assigned relationships, coordinating underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and brokers to deliver tailored, multi-line solutions. The role blends relationship management with deal design and negotiation to differentiate Zurich’s proposition. You will work flexibly within a collaborative, cross-functional team to drive growth and innovation for key accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep, long-lasting relationships with customers and London Market brokers as the primary Zurich contact
• Define and execute strategic plans for assigned customers and growth opportunities
• Lead cross-functional teams (Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering) to deliver Zurich’s full product suite
• Assess appetite, allocate resources, and appoint necessary team members to fulfill customer solutions
• Set attack/defense plans and lead the Deal Team on opportunities
• Finalize design and negotiate terms with customers and brokers within set time frames
• Support growth lines of business through business planning
• Maintain a visible presence with London Market global brokers
