Agile Delivery Lead, Defence and Security

Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end delivery of complex technical and transformation programmes for Defence & Security clients. You will apply traditional, hybrid and agile methods to structure, assure, manage and deliver solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position sits in Deloitte’s Technology Programme Delivery, enabling impactful programmes with robust governance and stakeholder engagement. You will work in a role that combines strategic delivery leadership with hands-on execution, contributing to mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex technical and transformation programmes using agile methods
• Structure, assure, manage, and deliver or set up solutions to meet client needs
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders to maintain alignment and governance
• Demonstrate grip of scope and risk across challenging environments
• Lead or contribute to delivery in defence/secure environments (as desirable)
• Support application of product management/ownership approaches and value streams (desirable)
• Augment delivery with AI capabilities where appropriate (desirable)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive progress and impact

Key requirements

• Hold UK security clearance to Developed Vetting level
• Significant experience applying traditional, hybrid and agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS)
• End-to-end involvement in complex technical/transformation projects and programme delivery
• Experience in defence/secure environments (desirable)
• Knowledge of product management/ownership approaches (value streams) (desirable)
• Ability to supplement delivery work with AI effectively (desirable)
