Overview
In this evening-role, you will support and improve end-user desktop infrastructure for a leading quant trading client. You’ll set up PCs, manage assets, assist onboarding, and deploy new end-user technologies to minimise trading floor downtime. You work closely with cross-functional teams to expand infrastructure and automate routines, enabling smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Setting up and deploying PCs for end users
- Managing assets and procurement processes
- Assist in user onboarding procedures
- Relocate desktop technology efficiently
- Contribute to infrastructure expansion projects
- Participate in the development and rollout of new technologies for end users
- Use automated tooling to avoid trading floor downtime
Key requirements
- 3+ years in a technology support role (or demonstrated equivalent through studies/volunteer work)
- Proficiency in computer hardware and peripherals
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Customer-first mentality with reliable, courteous, flexible teamwork
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to convey issues clearly to technical and non-technical individuals
