Data Product Business Analyst

Overview

As a Data Product Business Analyst at Barclays, you will translate business needs into data-driven requirements and products. You will collaborate with data modellers and engineering teams to ensure data is captured, curated, and delivered to modern data platforms in line with governance standards. You’ll shape business cases, feasibility studies, and change-management activities to enable scalable, value-driven solutions across the organisation. Responsibilities

• Identify and analyse business problems and requirements triggering change
• Develop business requirements to address problems and opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet needs
• Support creation of business cases to justify investments
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed solutions
• Produce progress reports to track timely, budget-aligned delivery
• Design operational and process designs within scope
• Support change management and traceability to embed solutions
• Assist in risk mitigation and governance improvements
• Engage in complex data analysis from multiple sources to resolve problems creatively and effectively
• Communicate complex information to diverse audiences
