Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

In this role you will lead mechanical design efforts for complex machinery from concept to detail, ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive. Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of mechanical design for complex machinery from concept to detailed design
• Perform 3D CAD work (Inventor or similar)
• Create project specifications, timelines, and risk assessments (including FMEA)
• Manage workloads and take the lead on projects
• Ensure compliance with Machinery Directive

Key requirements

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – Inventor (or similar)
• GD&T
• Special Purpose Machinery or Industrial Equipment design experience
• Drives / motors (desirable)
