Business Analyst with HR Systems

Overview

In this role you will act as a seasoned Business Analyst focused on HRIS projects, guiding stakeholders through full project lifecycles. You will assess how the business uses technology to meet goals, map current and future processes, and streamline workflows in an education-oriented context. You’ll lead workshops, manage documentation, and communicate with senior leaders to align technology with strategic needs. The role combines HR systems expertise with change management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the business structure and cross-functional integration (Marketing, Finance, Education).
• Identify technology use and business goals aligned with requirements.
• Conduct As-Is/To-Be process mappings.
• Identify issues via data modelling and process flows; streamline processes.
• Manage documentation and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Align internal and external stakeholders to benefits of new technology or strategies.
• Run workshops and training sessions to onboard teams.

Key requirements

• 5–8 years of proven BA experience
• At least 5 years in HRIS experience (prefer Cornerstone HRIS)
• Strong business analysis skills with formal techniques and methodologies
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and guiding them to outcomes
• Experience with process mapping, data modelling, and documentation management
• Change management capability; ability to drive adoption
• Occasional travel; Milton Keynes location
• Knowledge of finance systems integration and education sector context (beneficial)
