Intellectual Property Lawyer- Patent Litigation

Overview

In this role you join a leading UK IP team to handle business-critical patent litigation and related advisory work for major life sciences, technology, and manufacturing clients. You will engage in high-stakes disputes before premier courts and contribute to a growing pan-EU IP offering, including UPC-related matters. You’ll work with cross-border teams and support clients through exploitation, enforcement, and strategic collaborations. This role combines technical IP excellence with client service in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• handle patent litigation and related advisory work for high-profile clients
• advise on freedom-to-operate, exploitation, and enforcement of IP rights
• participate in cross-border disputes and European IP matters (UPC)
• collaborate with other IP teams and clients across UK and international offices
• contribute to strategic IP advisory on collaborations, sales, and acquisitions
• develop strong client relationships and manage complex technologies in disputes
