Overview
In this role you design, develop and maintain electrical modules for abatement and related products within Edwards’ core electrical group. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet specifications, manage sub-assemblies, and document designs and BOMs. The position emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and continuous learning to support project success and engineering excellence. This is a hybrid role in Bristol, offering a path to contribute to impactful product development and company goals.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain sub-assemblies and modules for current/new/customised products
- Meet engineering specification targets for designs
- Create detailed design documentation including models, drawings, BOMs, test data and calculations
- Provide electrical support to other functions as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements
- Contribute to engineering process/methodology improvements
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings and technical discussions
- Pursue ongoing learning through training and e-learning
- Align delivery with business year goals for VC
Key requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of design experience
- Hands-on experience in schematics, cable assemblies, BOM creation and part selection
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical) or similar drafting tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
