Data Consultant Director

Overview

In this role you drive data strategy and AI-enabled transformation for leading clients, balancing delivery leadership with pre‑sales growth. You’ll guide cross‑functional teams across locations to deliver measurable business value and shape scalable data propositions. The position combines advisory authority with hands-on execution in a hybrid, travel‑flexible setup, focused on growing the Data & AI practice in the UK/Europe.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with C‑suite and stakeholders, combining strategic advisory with thought leadership
• Translate data opportunities into business outcomes, use cases, and investment plans
• Guide delivery of digital transformation projects and data-driven strategies
• Lead cross-location teams to design and implement innovative data solutions
• Contribute to business development, shaping propositions and expanding footprints
• Support pre‑sales activities from discovery to contract signature
• Define data propositions, frameworks and methodologies to scale the practice
• Mentor multi-disciplinary teams and foster a culture of innovation and excellence
• Support career development and skills growth within the practice

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a data-related field
• 10+ years in data consulting or a related role
• Experience in leading and delivering Data & AI projects
• Consulting background in a matrixed organization
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
• Ability to identify opportunities and drive growth in Data & AI
• Proven track record of building and managing high‑performing teams
• Keeping pace with evolving data and AI technologies
