As a Senior Lawyer in Contracts & Commercial, you will support the Council’s capital projects and provide expert advice on contract law, procurement and subsidy control. You will work across directorates on high-value, complex contracts and governance matters, helping shape major redevelopment and housing initiatives. • Support Council capital projects teams across high-profile redevelopment initiatives
• Handle day-to-day contractual matters and advise on complex, high-value contracts
• Provide expertise in procurement and subsidy control
• Identify risk and support governance and decision-making processes

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with extensive Contracts & Commercial experience
• Experience in major projects work or high-value contracts is highly regarded
