Overview
In this role you join a leading regional practice in Guildford to handle a broad range of commercial property work and help grow the office. You will manage your own caseload within a supportive team, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to practice development. The position offers a path toward partner-level progression within a firm focused on client service and a clear business plan. You will build strong client relationships and shape the future of the property department in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise on development, investment, acquisitions and disposals within commercial property
- Manage own caseload and contribute to the department’s success
- Supervise junior lawyers and mentor colleagues
- Engage in practice development and help shape the office’s future
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Key requirements
- 7+ PQE in real estate or equivalent senior experience
- Technical excellence in commercial property matters (development, investment, acquisitions, disposals)
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
- Ability to lead, supervise, and develop junior lawyers
- Ambition to progress toward partner level
- Proven ability to manage a high-quality client base and workload
