Customer Project Manager

Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end customer-facing projects across Cisco technologies, ensuring alignment with customer goals and Cisco objectives. You own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction, with regular updates to SDMs and CXMs to keep delivery and adoption aligned. You drive governance, financial forecasting, and compliance, while coordinating with vendors on SOWs and T&Cs. You apply PMI/Agile frameworks and AI-driven tools to streamline planning, risk management, and closeout, and you champion continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects from kickoff to closeout
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, and P&L aligned to SOWs
• Ensure governance, risk, and issue management across delivery
• Collaborate with SDMs for partner selection, SOW approvals, and governance
• Maintain invoicing, payments tracking, and forecasting processes
• Coordinate onboarding, security, and compliance requirements for customers
• Apply AI/automation to planning, reporting, risk detection, and closeout
• Foster continuous improvement through lessons learned and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of external customer delivery of enterprise software, cloud SaaS, or professional services
• Proven experience leading customer engagements across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery
• Experience with project or program management in enterprise environments
• Strong governance, budgeting, and stakeholder communication skills
