Site Engineer II

Overview

As Site Engineer II, you ensure reliable operation of critical data center infrastructure through proactive maintenance, testing, and surveillance. You will troubleshoot, schedule maintenance, and coordinate with subcontractors while supporting SLA delivery and on-call incident response. You’ll supervise Site Engineers I, develop operating procedures, and help plan critical maintenance and change requests. Responsibilities

• Drive safety, efficiency, and core values across operations
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements
• Manage maintenance and repair operations, including subcontractor coordination
• Perform on-call duties and incident management
• Document progress, issues, and results, and implement improvements
• Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment and performance development
• Demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance
• Write/review operating procedures and assist planning of critical maintenance/change requests

Key requirements

• Experience in mission-critical operations and maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical and/or electrical and mechanical systems
• Technical education/training in mission-critical operations
• HVAC/mechanical or electrical specialization
• Good computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work in shifts
• Vocational-level technical education or site engineering background
• Skilled in maintenance of data center electrotechnical/electrical and mechanical systems (LV/HV distribution, UPS, generators, cooling, pumps, BMS)
• Preferred familiarity with electrical switching/isolation in critical environments
