Overview

In this Senior Health & Safety position, you’ll help build and lead a world-class EHS program that protects manufacturing teams. You’ll partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and regulatory compliance. You’ll oversee audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments while shaping location-specific EHS strategies. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to advance a safer, more sustainable manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain metrics and trend data to support management reviews and continuous improvement
  • Assist in implementing EHS policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Develop location-specific EHS programs and training aligned with regulatory initiatives
  • Supervise incident investigations (root cause analysis) and ensure corrective actions
  • Conduct EHS audits and risk assessments; participate in external audits
  • Coordinate corrective actions with site personnel and follow up
  • Serve as technical EHS resource for management and safety committee; lead the site safety committee
  • Support Continuous Improvement/Lean/5S activities and ergonomics program
  • Collaborate with regional security to ensure life safety measures
  • Provide recommendations to improve EHS practices within the facility

Key requirements

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • IOSH certification (member)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Employee Health & Safety in manufacturing environments
  • Desirable ISO lead auditor qualification
