Overview
In this Cost Manager role, you will help deliver major energy, power and infrastructure projects by monitoring costs, forecasting, and reporting against budgets. You’ll work with client and contractor teams to manage programme performance, value engineering, and contract cash flow, while ensuring governance and timely change control. Responsibilities
- Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies
- Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion
- Managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring timely applications
- Collaborating with client and contractor teams to deliver deliverables and KPIs
- Overseeing contract change to maintain governance and best practice
- Driving improvements in forecast and budget accuracy
Key requirements
- Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Ideally hold or be working towards professional body membership or equivalent
- Contract Management experience (NEC3, Option C or NEC4 preferred)
- Experience on Major Programmes and Projects
- Experience in Infrastructure or Energy projects (Rail, air, marine/ports, utilities, highways; Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Wind or Carbon Capture)
- Collaboration with clients and contractor teams
