Overview

In this role you will develop sourcing strategies for major bids and programmes, and lead supplier solutions to enable business growth. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify capable suppliers, manage commercial risk, and deliver value-driven outcomes that support contract wins and delivery. You’ll influence strategic decisions within a global organisation and build expertise in procurement and supply chains. Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing and supply chain strategies to back new business opportunities and bid activity
• Lead supplier selection, tendering, negotiations, and contract implementation
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance, value, and risk management
• Conduct supplier due diligence and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with procurement, commercial, engineering, and project teams to deliver supply chain solutions
• Identify and engage capable suppliers and manage sourcing activities to support programme delivery

Key requirements

• Experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing
• Experience developing sourcing strategies across diverse goods and services
• Experience managing end-to-end procurement activities including tenders, negotiations, and contracts
• Experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve commercial and operational objectives
