Refrigeration Engineer

Overview

In this permanent role you will service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems for a major retail contract, operating mainly across the M25 as part of an in-house service team. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance and fault finding, with a 1 in 5 callout rota and on-site reporting. This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth of an expanding engineering business by delivering reliable, compliant refrigeration service.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems
• Covering retail sites across the M25
• Planning and executing preventive and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and breakdown response
• Participating in a 1 in 5 emergency callout rota
• Completing service reports and F-Gas records
• Collaborating within a newly established in-house service team

Key requirements

• Strong commercial refrigeration background
• Good fault-finding and service skills
• Ability to work independently on customer sites
• Refrigeration knowledge is essential
• Retail experience advantageous but not essential
• CO2 experience would be a bonus but not required
• F-Gas qualification
