Overview

In this role you will lead the development of Springer Nature’s preprints capability, shaping the end-to-end user journey with Research Square integration. You’ll work closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams to drive value through data-informed decisions and iterative delivery. The position focuses on improving discovery, submission, and management of preprints to boost engagement and core publishing KPIs. This is an opportunity to influence how researchers share early findings at scale and align with SN’s portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage preprints experiences on customer-facing website with RSQ integration
  • Oversee commercially important or editorially sensitive products
  • Embed with internal development teams to deliver core user journeys
  • Use data-led use cases with UX/CX to enhance customer experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other PMs to align strategy across portfolio
  • Sponsor customer research and data insights to shape the product
  • Manage products across full lifecycle from inception to retirement
  • Represent Product Management practices internally and externally

Key requirements

  • University education in a relevant area or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Established track record in product development and management of customer-focused digital products
  • Proven success in meeting product goals with quantitative, qualitative and commercial measures
  • User-focused with strong data and customer research capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience of Agile working within software development teams
  • Expert stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
