Mobile Refrigeration Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service, repair and diagnose vehicle refrigeration and air conditioning systems across the Midlands as part of a remote, field-based team. You will support smooth service delivery by managing van stock, completing safety checks, and handling scheduling and documentation while upholding strong customer service. Responsibilities

• Manage van stock to ensure efficient service delivery
• Complete daily safety checks on company vehicle
• Coordinate with management on job scheduling, downtime, and customer orders
• Accurately complete paperwork and digital job records for invoicing and compliance
• Support apprentices or trainee engineers when required
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional company representation

Key requirements

• Experience as Mobile Refrigeration Engineer / Transport Refrigeration Engineer / Vehicle Air Conditioning Engineer or similar
• Experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or Mechanical Engineering
• F-Gas certification
• C&G qualification or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• IT literacy including Microsoft Office and handheld PDA systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
