Senior C&I Engineer – Staff – London

In this Senior C&I Engineer role, you’ll support design, configuration, and testing of SCADA systems within a fast-growing renewable energy-focused business. You collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant design deliverables for oil & gas and energy projects, contributing to safety analyses and reliability assessments. Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement and test SCADA systems
• Design and test simulation software devices for project simulation
• Provide engineering design and assessment support within the team
• Produce design deliverables with multidisciplinary engineers and designers
• Review subcontractor design work for compliance with client specs
• Contribute input to HAZOP/HAZIDs
• Perform fault analysis and reliability assessments (FMEA, FTA, HAZID, HAZOP)

Key requirements

• Degree qualified (chartered status desired but not essential)
• Experience designing C&I equipment in an energy industry environment
• Experience on design projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy
• Experience with C&I equipment in conventional and safety applications
• Knowledge of PLC programming, system integration, SCADA configuration and software testing
• Experience with relevant design standards and protocols
• Experience in other major energy sectors (e.g., Energy from Waste) advantageous
• Site experience with a design background beneficial
