Consulting Director – Life & Pensions Insurance

Overview

In this Director role, you will lead Life & Pensions consulting efforts to grow our UK&I practice and deliver high-impact business and technology transformations. You’ll shape client agendas, strengthen relationships, and develop market propositions while guiding a high-performing team. You will balance client delivery with account growth and practice leadership in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. Your work will help advance NTT DATA’s Insurance capabilities and industry leadership, with a clear focus on measurable outcomes and industry excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted senior relationships and understand client transformation priorities
• Lead and contribute to transformation programmes with Insurance sector expertise
• Identify opportunities to expand engagements and build long-term client partnerships
• Support proposals, bids, and go-to-market propositions aligned to industry needs
• Collaborate across account, sector, and consulting leaders to drive growth in priority Insurance accounts
• Mentor and develop consultants; contribute to recruitment and culture
• Represent NTT DATA in client workshops, events, and executive discussions
• Provide governance, advisory, and delivery leadership across engagements

Key requirements

• Significant consulting/industry leadership experience in Life & Pensions
• Deep knowledge of Life Insurance, Retirement, Workplace Pensions, Adviser Distribution
• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes with measurable outcomes
• Experience with senior stakeholders including C-suite
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to balance client delivery, account growth, and leadership responsibilities
• Collaborative leadership style with a focus on mentoring and practice growth
• Ability to operate in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
