Senior Reporting Accountant

Overview

In this role you will support statutory and regulatory reporting across a complex multi-entity environment, contributing to financial close, Group reporting, and external audit processes. You will work with IFRS, LUXGAAP, and Solvency II to ensure accurate statements and disclosures, while strengthening financial controls. You’ll interact with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality reporting packs and technical accounting papers. Responsibilities

• Support statutory financial statements, interim filings and regulatory reporting (SFCR, Non-Actuarial QRTs)
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, LUXGAAP and Solvency II requirements
• Support financial close activities (balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, disclosures)
• Prepare and support technical accounting papers for significant transactions and judgments
• Assist Group reporting, consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and reporting packs
• Support external audit process with timely information responses
• Contribute to strengthening financial controls and improve reporting processes

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in statutory and/or regulatory reporting, preferably in insurance
• Strong knowledge of LUXGAAP and experience with statutory FS preparation/review
• Experience with EU regulatory reporting (SFCR, QRTs)
• Understanding of life insurance accounting and finance/actuarial interface
• Experience/understanding of IFRS 17, Solvency II, Group consolidation, multi-entity reporting and financial control frameworks
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Previous insurance industry experience
