As Solution Manager you lead and develop a pre-sales team within Oracle Health & Life Sciences, shaping healthcare-focused solution roadmaps and articulating measurable business value. Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed pre-sales team while staying actively involved in strategic customer engagements
- Support healthcare opportunities across the UK and broader regions, with selective overlap into Health Insurance and Fusion One Oracle plays
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Delivery, Customer Success, and partners to shape solution roadmaps and demonstrate business value
- Translate complex customer needs into clear, value-led business and technology solutions
- Drive and govern high-profile, enterprise-scale opportunities and executive engagements
- Lead change initiatives with a focus on outcomes and continuous learning
- Influence senior stakeholders and navigate multi-stakeholder decision processes
Key requirements
- 10+ years in pre-sales, solution consulting, enterprise sales engineering, or similar customer-facing tech role with leadership experience
- Proven people management experience and ability to inspire high-performing teams
- Experience supporting healthcare transformation programs in the UK
- Familiarity with Oracle Health solutions or comparable healthcare tech platforms
- Experience positioning and demonstrating enterprise cloud applications (e.g., Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, SCM, HCM, CX) or equivalent
- Experience in Health Insurance or payer transformation is advantageous
- Experience shaping connected health and enterprise app strategies (e.g., Fusion OneOracle plays)
- Knowledge of enterprise architectures and roadmaps linking clinical, operational, financial, supply chain, and workforce priorities
- Understanding of interoperability, data, security, and regulatory considerations; AI capabilities in enterprise SaaS
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, value selling, opportunity qualification, and account planning; design thinking and customer journey mapping is a plus
- Bachelor degree or equivalent; postgraduate qualification desirable; fluent English; travel within UK and across EMEA
