Management Accountant

Overview

In this role you will lead month-end accounting for a growing SME, collaborating with Directors to provide timely financial insight. You will manage a small finance team, own reporting across management accounts, regional P&L, KPIs, and budgeting support, and drive process improvements. The position offers visibility to senior leadership and a broad scope beyond core reporting, with a focus on enabling better decision-making. On-site work and commutable distance underpin the day-to-day, creating a hands-on, impact-driven finance partnership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce regional P&L reporting
• Deliver KPI reporting to monitor performance
• Support budgeting and reforecasting processes
• Handle VAT returns and assist with audits
• Review AP outputs and support the team
• Lead_projects and process improvements
• Manage a small finance team
• Communicate with non-finance stakeholders to enable decisions
