Overview

As a Business Development Lead for the North, you will blend hands-on selling with coaching a high-performing outbound team to accelerate mid-market SME adoption in primary care networks, GP practices, and federations. You’ll drive product growth across the expanding Accurx suite, including Scribe, while using data-driven market insights to shape regional strategy. Your role combines field sales, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver regional revenue targets. This position offers a chance to impact NHS workflows at scale and advance healthcare productivity through innovative tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate a high-volume outbound sales process to scale mid-market adoption in the North
  • Close key deals while coaching BDAs and BDMs to meet revenue targets
  • Identify expansion opportunities across the product suite, including Scribe
  • Conduct data-driven market mapping to set commercial priorities and forecast pipelines
  • Engage with primary care stakeholders via webinars, events, and direct conversations
  • Integrate AI tools into the team workflow to improve customer insights and automate sequences
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and the broader BD team to drive deal conversion and regional growth

Key requirements

  • Proven sales track record with revenue targets in traditional outbound roles
  • Experience coaching or managing salespeople to high performance
  • Hands-on expertise in high-velocity outbound cadences and mid-market motions
  • Strong data fluency with spreadsheets and datasets to inform decisions
  • Forecasting and target-setting capability with clear plan articulation
  • Experience selling into NHS, primary care networks, or public sector environments
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced startup setting with urgency and resourcefulness
