Overview
In this London-based role, you will deliver CDM and H&S consultancy to existing and new clients, tailoring services to meet project and client needs. You will leverage your technical expertise to improve CDM/H&S efficiency and, when needed, act as Principal Designer to guide legal responsibilities. You will build trusted client relationships, manage commissions, and help ensure quality and profitability across projects. This is an opportunity to shape safety, compliance, and project outcomes for a leading professional services firm in construction.
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs and identify practical CDM/H&S solutions
- Develop and optimise existing CDM/H&S systems and processes
- Act as Principal Designer to advise on legal responsibilities under CDM Regulations
- Build strong client relationships and represent TT professionally
- Manage commissions to meet client scope and TT requirements
- Conduct H&S performance reviews and audits for clients
- Collaborate with SHQ and TT colleagues to ensure consistency and profitability
- Prepare pre-construction information and H&S files
Key requirements
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent)
- GradIOSH or equivalent
- Membership of the APS
- Experience as a Principal Designer
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
- Extensive knowledge of Construction Industry and CDM Regulations
