Overview

In this Bid Manager role, you lead the end-to-end bid process to win strategic projects within Water and Energy & Resources. You’ll coordinate a multidisciplinary team to turn technical content into compelling proposals, shaping growth for the business. You’ll drive timelines, stakeholder engagement, and the quality of submissions while elevating market positioning. This is a chance to influence high-impact water and energy projects and foster a culture of excellence across the bid team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and orchestrate bid activities from opportunity to submission
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, design, and other stakeholders)
  • Transform technical content into persuasive, winning proposals
  • Manage multiple bids and deadlines with strong project governance
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment and high-quality submissions
  • Develop and upskill the bidding team, fostering continuous improvement
  • Support region-wide growth in Water and Energy sectors

Key requirements

  • BSc/MSc in business management, marketing or environmental/engineering related discipline (desirable)
  • excellent time management and organisational skills

  • ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • ability to work both in a team and independently
