Overview

In this Director/Partner role, you will help steer a leading national employment practice from the Bristol office, shaping strategy and growth. You will work with PLCs, SMEs, and senior professionals, handling complex employment matters and advising leadership teams. You’ll lead and mentor colleagues, drive business development, and contribute to the national team’s expansion. Responsibilities

  • Advise on disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Handle unfair dismissal and discrimination claims
  • Oversee TUPE and workforce transfers
  • Address whistleblowing issues
  • Manage redundancy and restructuring projects
  • Provide strategic advisory support to senior leadership and boards
  • Mentor and support colleagues across the national team
  • Lead business development initiatives and contribute to team strategy
  • Drive growth and development of the Bristol office

Key requirements

  • Director or Partner level experience in a reputable employment practice
  • Strong client following or established referral network
