In this role you will handle construction disputes within a growing regional firm, joining a dedicated construction team that covers contentious and non-contentious work. You will advise on live projects, support contract and risk decisions, and develop your expertise under supervision. The position offers exposure to a broad mix of disputes and a collaborative, friendly team across offices. Responsibilities
- Handle construction-related disputes including adjudication, mediation and court proceedings
- Provide strategic guidance to clients as issues arise on live projects
- Collaborate on contract structures, risk management and project documentation
- Develop construction law expertise with guidance from Head of Team
- Contribute to a friendly, close-knit team across multiple offices
- Support clients with high-quality service and problem-solving in disputes
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- Some litigation experience from training or PQE
- Genuine interest in construction disputes and desire to specialise
- Proactive, organised and committed to excellent client service
- Enjoys collaborative, supportive team environment
- Motivated to learn, develop and take on increasing responsibility
- Construction experience welcome but not essential
